Ted Cruz Sets the Bar Very Low--

Mr. Cruz promises that he will support Donald Trump if he is the Republican nominee, unless Mr. Trump shoots someone. On Fifth Avenue.

Apparently, for Mr. Cruz, Tenth Avenue is okay, or anywhere in the Village. Harlem. Also safe are Market Street in Poughkeepsie, Water Street in Peoria. It's especially okay in Gun Barrel City, Texas or Rifle, Colorado.


Okay--I know the context. Mr. Trump famously said, "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot people [Presumably rich people] and I wouldn't lose voters." 

Still, given Trump's trumpeting of racial hatred, bigotry, woman-demeaning, and his inciting of violence at his rallies is just fine as far as Mr. Cruz is concerned. Party loyalty comes first.
